This is because you are removing your makeup, but not actually cleansing your face. Your makeup might look like it is gone, but in reality it is still in your pores. Clogged pores = Zachary the zit. Am I the only one that is weird and names my zits? I just feel like when they are big enough to take up a whole zip code then they must have a name. Weird I know.
So the next time your using a makeup remover of any sort, cleanse your face thoroughly afterwards with a mild face wash, I also recommend an exfoliator once to twice a week, and of course never skip face/eye cream!
Here is a few of my every night face care products:
and here are two items that I am hoping to be able to add to my skin care routine soon.

What kind of moisturizers do you recommend if any after you wash your face?
ReplyDeleteIt all depends on what type of skin you have. I personally have combination skin, my T zone stays very oily but I have dry patches in some areas especially under my eyes. I highly recommend Neutrogena drugstore products. They have an amazing skin care line and most esthetician swear by it being the best in the drugstore. I currently use Neutrogena Oil free moisturizer for combination skin every morning on my face before I apply my makeup. This moisturizer is amazing at keeping my oily areas matte but also at hydrating my dry spots. Aveeno Simply Radiant moisturizer is also a great product that helps brighten up your skin. If you are looking for a high end day time moisturizer my favorite is Origins Energy Boosting Moisturizer, it literally helps your skin feel more awake and has an amazing tint that forms to the shade of your skin and gives a great complexion balancing shade.
ReplyDeleteFor night time, I like to go with a thicker cream. For a drugstore i recommend Neutrogena Deep Moisture Night Cream. And for a high end I would recommend the Philosophy Hope In a Jar Night (this product is pricey but it works miracles and is worth every penny.) Hope this has helped you dear!
